Sugar Free Peach Arnold Palmer

The sugar cravings are still going strong, but it's been fun to come up with hacks for my all of my cravings!  Recently I've been craving sweeter drinks, and the fruit in my flat or sparkling water hasn't been cutting it.  I've been wanting fruit juices and lemonades!  One of my favorite drinks is a good old Arnold Palmer (half iced tea/half lemonade), but the sugar load is hard to justify!  The other day I finally created my own version of a peach Arnold Palmer and wanted to share it with you as a delicious sugar-free treat!

Basically what I did is brew organic peach tea, add xylitol and pure organic lemon juice.  That's it, haha.  Why didn't I think of this sooner?  If it's enough direction for you to run with, go for it!  Get creative with your tea flavors too!  If you want more step by step directions on how I did it, read below. :)

Directions:  (Just FYI...these are kind of random, so hopefully you can find a more seamless way to do this)

  1. Heat 32 oz. of water, and then pour into a 32 oz. mason jar.  (32 oz. is totally arbitrary, but I just decided to fill the whole jar)
  2. Steep 3 bags of organic peach tea (or any flavor you prefer).  I let it steep about 30-45 minutes.
  3. I then poured half of the tea into another 32 oz. mason jar so I then had (2) 32 oz. mason jars that were half full of tea.  My thought process was that I was trying to cool the tea as quickly as possible so I could add ice or put it in the fridge without the glass cracking.  We don't have any plastic containers, so glass was my only option!
  4. I then added 3 teaspoons of xylitol and 3 tablespoons of organic lemon juice and filled the rest with water because I like my drinks more on the diluted side.  Feel free to add more/less xylitol or lemon juice as you'd like for your taste preferences
